I am a buyer for a resale HDB flat. Once I have attended the 1st appointment, what could possible go wrong? Can the seller/agent do anything to halt the completion of the purchase? The latter question is asked in view that some agents prefering commission paid in full by 1st appointment. Please tell me the worst scenario.

If seller side is not qualified e.g. house is not ready to take over condition (buyer reject), seller owned CSS but haven't do the neccessary documentation/appeal or even if the house's caveat is not taken out will caused the transaction to be postpone or void. As for the latter questions, is really up to the comfort level of buyer.Hope it help you in a way :) Read More
