I am a 32 yo Singaporean. I currently co-own a HDB flat with my sister. The flat is fully paid for. I am getting married soon, my question is am i able to purchase a HDB resale flat with my wife?

Afternoon Ryan,

If your sister is SC and single above age of 35, she can opt to purchase it from you under single scheme. This will allow you to purchase resale unit with your spouse. However, if your sister is single but below age of 35, both of you have to sell off the unit before you can move on.

    Hi Mike,

    Thank you for your response. How does my sister go about purchasing the flat from me? Does she need to take up another loan? Will it be based on valuation?
