I am 51yo, divorced, and plan to purchase a HDB 3 Room resale flat as a Single and intend to apply for HDB Loan.

However, I am not sure how much will I be able to loan from HDB based on my age and income. This will affect what type.of flat I can purchase.

I have about 230K in my CPF OA and my monthly income is 3.3K.

I would Iike to know:
1. If I am looking at flat that cost up to $420K. Is it possible for me to get the required loan amount from HDB based on my criteria?

2. If Q1 above is "NO", what will be the maximum cost of flat I am able to purchase then with loan amount HDB will grant me?

Can some expert kindly advise?

Hi,

The loan attainable should be approx $135k. This plus your CPF OA available, you should look at properties approx $355k.
