If what you meant is if your mom have already bought 2 subsidized housing in the past (eg 2 BTO or 1 resale with first timer grant and 1 BTO), then you and mom is not eligible for new EC. However I understand there are some confusions on what is deemed as 2 subsidised housing. Do contact me at 93375051  and I can explain more on that.

Hi Yan Ming,

As your mum has already purchased 2 subsidized flats, she is no longer eligible for a new EC (considered subsidized housing by HDB). If you are 35 years old and above single, you can purchase with another unrelated 35 years old and above single under the joint singles scheme for the new EC.

May I know which EC you are looking at? I have transacted quite a number of new ECs and will be happy to share the best approach. Hope the above clarifies.
