Husband and wife and a daughter are an SPR. My son is a citizen, 25yrs old.
I understand that I will be required to sell my HDB flat, if I decide to renounce my (only myself) SPR.
Is it allowed for my wife, son and daughter to buy another resale HDB flat?

Hi there, yes, if your son is a SC, he may purchase another HDB with your wife (his mother) to meet the min HDB requirement. Do give me a ring or email for a more detailed explanation before you commence with the transition. Thanks and Regards

Hi Sir,

Yes you will be required to sell the HDB flat as once you have renounced your citizenship, you will not be eligible to hold on to the flat. As for your son, he is ale to purchase a resale flat together with your wife as he is a SC.

Hi,

Yes you are required to sell off your HDB once you renounce SPR status. Another way could be to add your SC son name into the HDB property ownership so to be eligible to keep the HDB. Otherwise, you will be required to sell it.

Yes your SC son can purchase with your SPR spouse as a family nucleus a resale HDB. You can be added as an occupier.
