Good morning Sir/ Mdm,

you will not have to pay ABSD for first residential property as a Singaporean.

SPR is subject to 5% ABSD whereas foreigner is 30%.

IRAS do have some exceptions tho.

If a married spouse consists of a Singaporean along with a SPR or foreigner spouse buying first residential property, there wont be any ABSD payable as IRAS will treat it as their matrimonial home.

Or you are a resident from USA or resident or PR from Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Liechtenstein. You will be accorded the same treatment as Singapore. Do refer to the link below.
