How to finance a $800K condo?

Dear Gurus,
I am a individual, 29, single, with $170,000 in 100% cash. I do not have any other assets. I am unemployed Singapore Citizen. I wish to purchase a condominium, how may I finance it using the 20% downpayment, plus stamp duty of 3%, and how much must I earn per month to finance it? It is my first time purchasing a property. Thank you.

Hi,

Typical breakdown as follows:
Cash 5%
Cpf 15%
Max bank loan 80%
Stamp duties and legal fees approx 3%

Hence its about 184k (cash+cpf) in total for downpayment and stamp duties and legal. To loan up to 640k, you must be earning around at least 4800/mth.

Hi Naomi,
For a property of 800k, 20% down payment + stamp duty + legal fee, total of around 23% is around 184k cash + CPF OA.

The balance will be 616k. Base on the TDSR computation, the min monthly salary will be around 5k. Please allow me to show you all the details and provide more advisers.
