Do you mean you are renting with HDB directly or you are renting from a private landlord?

I have been in the real estate business since 2009, with more than 14 years of experience serving the Singapore real estate market.

I am very active in the residential segment of Singapore real estate market, having transacted hundreds of deals from HDBs to private condominiums and landed properties in Singapore, and have handled many unique cases in sales and purchases as well as rental deals.

Over the years, I have also established a network reaching out to more than 9,400 expatriates, bringing my market presence to both in and outside of Singapore. This has created an additional exposure when I manage my client's portfolios, on top of the conventional on and offline platforms, where other estate agents are relying on. This has allowed me to consistently convert leads into results.

With an evolving market, where change is the only constant, I have also been investing in upgrading of my knowledge and skills sets to improve myself and meet the demands of current and future market.

We are offering our clients a complimentary first consultation without obligations (Absolutely FREE!). Schedule for your FREE session today!

My Answer with regards to your Question:

There are a couple of ways you can easily check the lease end date for your HDB flat:

1. Check Your Sales and Purchase Agreement:

This is the most definitive and accurate method. Your sales and purchase agreement, which you signed when you bought the flat, clearly states the following:

Lease Commencement Date: The date your HDB flat's lease officially began.

Total Lease Term: This is typically 99 years for most HDB flats.

By adding the total lease term to the commencement date, you'll get the lease expiry date.

2. Use the HDB eServices Website:

HDB offers an online portal where you can access information about your flat, including the lease end date. Here's how to use it:

Visit the HDB eServices website (https://services2.hdb.gov.sg/)

Login using your Singpass credentials (Singapore's digital identity)

Navigate to the "My Flat" section

Select your specific flat

Your lease end date should be displayed under the flat information

3. Contact HDB:

If you're unable to access the eServices website or can't locate your sales and purchase agreement, contacting HDB directly is another option:

Call the HDB Contact Centre at 6100 1000

Provide your flat address or unit number for them to retrieve your lease information

Additional Tip:

While not the most precise method, you can also use HDB's map services to get an estimate of the remaining lease for an HDB flat (even if you don't own it). This feature is available on some property listing websites (https://www.propertyguru.com.sg/hdb-for-rent). However, remember that this provides an estimate, not the exact expiry date.
