Hi, I handled a few cases before just by purely doing paperwork for both seller and buyer and I charged them $1000.

The toughest part of the entire resale process is the marketing aspect, and the moment you have already gotten a buyer for your flat or have already negotiated an agreed price for your purchase, the leftover administrative processes are easy to be taken on by the individuals.

By administering the resale paperworks process, the agent undertakes legal responsibilities in ensuring things are in good order, despite not being involved in the negotiation, sourcing and/or marketing stages, where certain commitments could be made during these processes, therefore professional fees involved cannot be only doing paperwork, especially if the Option To Purchase is being signed by the agent.

I am unsure for others, but I felt that only desperate agents will undertake such assignments of doing purely paperwork without understanding how much responsibility it comes with by doing so. If they have proper assignments or listings to undertake with full commission to be earned, why are they looking to earn from such assignment?

I have been in the real estate business since 2009, with more than 10years of experience serving the Singapore real estate market.
