Hi,

In purchasing property in Singapore, there are something you have to take note as a foreigner.

(1) Are you a citizen of the below countries:
(a) Nationals and Permanent Residents of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland
(b) Nationals of the United States of America
If you are, then you can apply for remission, and not required to pay ABSD for the 1st property.

(2) If you are not one of the citizen of the above mentioned, then you are required to pay for the following with ref to $800k property:
(a) BSD (3%-$5,400): $ 18,600
(b) ABSD (15%) : $120,000

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more queries, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
