How long will it take for buyer stamp duty to reinburse back to buyer in cash?

If a refund is due, IRAS typically processes it in about 1–1.5 months from approval of the refund. The amount is credited back to the same mode (CPF if you used CPF, or bank account if paid in cash). It is best to check with IRAS directly.

Are you referring to private property purchase? Typically the BSD has to be paid in cash first upfront, and if there are sufficient CPF OA monies, the amount can be reimbursed to you near to the completion date, after deducting the same amount from the CPF OA.
Your law firm will be best positioned to advise on the timeline as they are privy to all your info.

1) I assume you are referring to reimbursement from the IRAS for the cash used to pay BSD when buying a resale property.
2) The reimbursement will only be processed upon completion of the sale. You can expected to receive the cashier order from IRAS within 3 weeks from the completion of the sale.
