Hi,

Once you collect the keys to your resale hdb, you need to wait out a 5 year MOP period before you can purchase residential property again.

Hi,

Beware that only SC is allowed to purchase private property upon meeting MOP of HDB flat, and continue to hold on to it.
SPR is not allowed to buy private property while holding on to HDB flat.
SPR has to dispose off HDB flat within 6 months of key collection of private property.

Your MOP period count from the day of key collection.

Hi .

Yes possible after 5 years MOP minimum occupation period .

Yes possible but you have to be singaporean to keep both the hdb and private property .

In addition , extra stamp duty 7% ABSD payable , meaning in an example of a 1 million dollar condo , extra taxes of $70 000 ABSD if you keep both the hdb and private property eventually .

Alternatively sell the hdb and buy a private property concurrently, with savings of $70 0000 taxes in a 1million condo example .
