The whole process takes about 3.5 to 4 months, depending whether it's a bank or HDB loan. Do note that this is excluding marketing / hunting period and whatever necessary administration prior to it.

Nowadays HDB resale procedures are pretty fast and most of the time, they are less than 6 months.

If the property is priced correctly, marketing period will be shorter but normally it's about 1 to 2 months. This duration also needs to take into consideration of the EIP and SPR eligibility Quota as well. If your block is open to all races, the chances of sealing the deal could be even faster.

HDB appointments can be as short as 3 months if not it could be as long as 4 1/2 months depending on availability and it is also a mix and match with buyer's preferred dates.
