How do i got about approaching a bank to assess my current financial situation so that i can have a reasonable understand of my financial status and the type of property i can afford? Is there a name for such a service and is it a charged service from the bank?

Turning 35 soon and seriously considering moving out of parent's place no matter what so i really want a clear understand of my financials vs the current market so that i can make a wise decision instead of overburden myself.

You may wish to get in touch with banker to do an In Principle Approval. You will need to prepare your income documents as well as the credit statements if any.

The IPA is non-obligatory, but will put you in good state for considerations in the plan to move out of your parent's place.

Using the income details that you have provided, I did a rough calculation and you should be able to secure a 1 mil loan over 30 years.

I can recommend my banker to you so that they can work on your IPA. This would be a tentative figure on how much loan the bank can loan to you should you choose to purchase a residential unit.
From there, I can assist you to understand your financial status better by tabulating a report based on your preferred choice of unit.
