You are only eligible to apply for 2room flexi flat in non-mature estate if you intend to apply for BTO, but you are eligible to purchase all flat types if you go into the resale market.

Hi,

1) You are eligible for the BTO/SBF as long as you apply with your wife and son as the occupier.
2) If you are buying a 4/5-rm flat type, then you can only apply for those in non-mature towns. You can only apply for 3-rm in a mature town.
3) You will be the sole owner and only your income will be considered for the amount of loan from the HDB.
4) But the grant available (EHG) shall be tabulated according to the household income, meaning if your wife is working then her income will be included in the tabulation.
5) The (2) & (3) will be lifted once your wife receives her PR status

If you and your child are a Singaporean, you may proceed to apply for a BTO of any size. You just have to list your wife and child as an occupier. There is no need to wait for your wife PR's approval. If you choose to purchase a resale and is a first timer, you will get to enjoy full first timer grants just like any other Singaporeans family due to your child status as a Singaporean despite he/she being a newborn.
