How can I purchase a flat with my wife if I have some credit issue, can my wife be the only person to take the housing loan ? I am currently renting a flat paying $1500 a month. Total CPF $160K

Evening Bernard, You can use your wife's name to obtain the mortgage loan, even with purchase under public scheme. However, financial institutes will still look into your credit credit to grant the approval amount. WIth $160k CPF, you will need another $160k loan to purchase a 3 room flat.
