How can I expedite the sales of my hdb flat? I am divorced as of dec last year while my ex was in prison. I have already received reply from HDB that I can expedite to sell my flat now without waiting for MOP which is on this Sep since my ex has been released from prison. My ex has been stalling to get an agent to sell the flat and I can foresee that he will try to not sell the flat since he has nowhere to go now. I have been trying to repaint my house and clear things to make it presentable before engaging an agent. My question is how and what should I do before engaging an agent to sell the flat and if my ex decided to disappear when there is a buyer for the flat what can I do to ensure that the sales go thru with or without him? Court order has stated for us to sell the flat in open market thou HDB didnt give a time frame to sell the flat.
