Hi,is there a rule which states that a person who is buying a condo to stay,cannot rent out his HDB? I heard can only stay in HDB and rent out the condo.

Morning, To be eligible to purchase second property and yet keeping the HDB unit, you need to be SC and have fulfilled the MOP requirement. Once these have being fulfilled, you will be eligible for the purchase. You can also then apply for the rental of your HDB unit while you stay in your second property.
