Hi..in year 2012,I had to face a petition of bancruptcy as I was one of the guarantor for a friends car and he didnt pay the installment and ignore the notices..we were not made bankrupt but was under debt repayment scheme and the debt was fully paid in Jan 2013 and was issued with certificate of completion..now in 2015 march I try applying for bank loan and got rejected..how to solve this as I really need to buy a house now..pls advice.. Thanks

Morning,

It would be good to check your credit record. If all is good, try apply it with another bank. Unless all fails, you might want to try HDB loan, provided that you are eligible.
