Nope all property purchases with loan financing require the applicants to pass the TDSR requirements. May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Dear sir/madam,

Any purchasers who requires a housing loan from the banker will be subjected to TDSR (Total Debt Servicing Ratio). In your case, there is no exception.

You will not be subjected to ABSD (Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty) in this case as you are only allowed to own 1 HDB by default because you will be required to sell the existing one within 6 months window from taking possession of your new HDB.

It will be good to run through the financial standings for the entire process before you embark on this process as it will be a highly stressful one to go through if you are not well prepared.

TDSR = Total Debt Servicing Ratio.

Everyone who buys a property, will be subjected to loan based on their TDSR.

I suppose you mean ABSD, Additional Buyer Stamp Duty?

If so, you are exempted from ABSD if you're going to purchase a resale HDB flat. You will then need to sell your current HDB flat within 6 months.
