Hihi.. If I purchase $360k hdb resale at mature estate, if the block en bloc in near future, will it affect me?

Should I reno nicely or wait of there is really en bloc going soon. Scare I spend on reno too much then cannot get back the sum of $ if en bloc... Thank you.

Hi,

If your block has been confirmed for SERS, it will definitely affect you, as the whole block will be torn down altogether. However, it will not be immediate, as replacement flats need to be built first.

As for renovation, it's personal preference. Some people are more willing to spend on renovation than others. Ultimately, you will have to weigh in and decide for yourself what do you really want. There is no right and wrong in this.
