hi,can i apply for 3 room bto with my 72 years old father?we have been living in an old estate for 20 over years and decided to apply for a new flat and what if we still cannot sell our old flat(left 43 years)when new flats is coming?thank very much

Dear Sir/Mdm,

Yes you can apply a BTO flat with your father if you are able to satisfy the buying criteria. As for the old flat, do not worry about not being to find a buyer. There is still a demand for older flats as they are more spacious and some buyers only want to buy specific areas. I have assisted my clients in selling flats that are very old and so far, all managed to find buyers at good price.

Hi
Yes you may apply a BTO with your father although resale levy applies is your father is not a first timer (purchase a flat direct from HDB or purchase a resale with HDB grant previously). You don't have to worry about not being able to sell off your flat as HDB regardless of age will always be in demand and HDB did allow some flexibility in the past to give more time to sellers to sell off their houses. Hi,

1) You may apply BTO with your father as long as you form a family nucleus.
2) Selling an old flat is not as easy but it is always falls back to the selling price you are expecting.
3) You will be able to sell it as long as the selling price is at a reasonable rate.
