Hi, would appreciate if someone can assist me with my queries. Thank you in advance! My BTO PCD is 3Q 2022.

Last 3 months I just joined a new company after being retrenched by my previous company, sadly, due to covid. So currently, I am employed (fulltime) but no CPF contribution as the company is based in US. I do have my employment letter with this new company. Also, I still have bad credit report although I have totally paid off my debt a year ago with no new card/loan enquiry.
I have abit of savings. Around $12K joint cash savings with my husband. He is a freelance worker with no fixed income monthly/annually. But he does declare his income tax yearly. He have no issues with his credit rating.

The question is, will this affect my HLE reassessment when I collect my keys? Will my loan still get approved if we both do not have any CPF contributions? Will HDB consider my HLE if I have some savings but poor credit rating? We are also planning to pay our monthly installment by cash if HDB approve the loan. Let me know what should I do in order for me to be able to collect my keys with no issues when my house is ready. Thanks again!!!

Hi to you too,

Will This Affect My HLE Reassessment When I Collect My Keys? YES
Will My Loan Still Get Approved If We Both Do Not Have Any CPF Contributions? MAY NOT, they need to see CPF for you since you're salaried. Your spouse will need NOA min 2 years as free lance.

Will HDB Consider My HLE If I Have Some Savings But Poor Credit Rating? NO. They will base on credit bureau report. You can buy on the website for $6+ to check on your own credit.

We Are Also Planning To Pay Our Monthly Installment By Cash If HDB Approve The Loan. CPF or CASH both is possible.

Let Me Know What Should I Do In Order For Me To Be Able To Collect My Keys With No Issues When My House Is Ready.
In short, get a salaried job with cpf contributions even if its your 2nd job. This is the main thing they look for. At least 3 months cpf contribution.

Hope this helps,
