Hi, will like some advice.

I intend to pay off my HDB loan with cash. Do I need to transfer the cash into my CPF to do so?
If I do sell off my HDB in the future, do the full proceed go to CPF only or only whatever amount I paid through CPF before?

Example: 200K loan left (for 20+ years), I wish to pay off the loan using 50K CPF and 150K cash.
In the future when i sell the flat, assuming for 200k, does full sum of 200k goes into CPF, or only 50k into CPF and 150k back in cash?

Also, how will this affect my options in buying a private property in the near future?

Any guru kindly advice. Thanks!

Evening,

To fully pay off your current mortgage under HDB loan, you can settle it at HDB branch office.
Whatever amount you have used on your unit, using CPF, will go back to CPF account. The balance is purely cash to you.

Hope I have managed to clear your doubts.
