Yes its possible, but there's restriction for certain projects & streets. D14 is still quite wide an area though, may I know which project you're looking at? usually you might not be able to obtain loan from major banks but you can obtain it from Hong Leong or Singapura Finance for properties in Geylang area.

Care to share which project are you looking at? Perhaps the project might not be under those restricted lorongs in which you can obtain max loan from major banks.

Dear Sir/Mdm,

Personally I feel District 14 is a great choice because of the future potential in the future as the area is undergoing major transformation.

However, I feel that Primedge may not be a good choice as it is a boutique development. For such a development, there may be maintenance issues in the long run and you may be limiting yourself to only investors as potential buyers in the future.

In my humble opinion, why don't you just stretch your budget just slightly and go for a proper condo development such as Sims Urban Oasis or Tre Residence which is more spacious and will be much easier to attract tenants in the future. In terms of location, they are within 5 mins walk to the MRT and will be very rent-able with good rental yield once it is completed.
