Hi, we had just completed our MOP last year. Was thinking to sell and buy another unit in mature estate. With the current slow market, should we sell first than buy or can it be done at the same time. Thank you!

A lot of my clients who are selling and buying concurrently have the same question in mind.

For my clients, I will usually advise them to sell first before they buy. This is because in the current market condition where supply is greater than demand, it is easier to buy as compared to sell.

By selling first, you will be able to achieve the ideal price you want and avoid the need to sell urgently when you buy first due to the timeline given by HDB to sell.
