Hi We are SPR , will be eligible to buy re-sale HBD by July 2018 (full filling the 3 year criteria). Can we look for an hdb from now or should we wait for to complete 3 years then only start to look for one ?

Hi

It will be good to start in July as you cannot sign the OTP without reaching the 3 years. Thus any physical viewing will be a waste of your time.

As you have been a tenant, the experience you had in looking for a place will be useful when you buy. I had an SPR couple who made an offer within 2 weeks

What you might want to do is to do some desk research in the district that you may want to stay and taking note of the asking price.
