Hi Mr DS, you may wish to consider sellng your hdb unit first. Reason being due to the weak market sentiment, it takes a longer time frame for the marketing effort and finding the right buyer to offer your unit. And as for renouncing of PR status, one could do it anytime. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.

Regards

Hi,

As mentioned, it is better to sell the HDB first before renouncing PR status as you have more time to manage your plans. May I understand your housing requirements before further value-adding?

Evening,

The advice that I have given to my client who just moved to Europe is to sell the unit first. Selling of your HDB unit would take time. Upon getting a buyer, you can then concurrently apply for the renounce on your SPR status. However, if you choose to renounce your SPR status first, you will be limited to sell your unit within 6 months timeframe.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.
