Hi We are PRs from 2007 and have a hdb in since 2008. We will be moving out of country for a year as my husband is posted on a 1 year post. I understand subletting or full unit rental is not an option for PRs but is there a possiblity for special case? or Can we leave the unit unoccupied and locked for a year ?

Hi, you could actually try and appeal to HDB to allow you to rent out the unit in your absence.

Evening,

You have fulfilled MOP and your spouse have being assigned overseas for work. If the company letter indicated your spouse can bring you along for the assignment, we can write into HDB for appeal.
