Hi, we are doing our refinance for HDB now. In our previous bank loan for past 3 years, the repayment were contributed by both of us (wife 45%, husband 55%). We are thinking to change the refinance to be repay 100% by the wife only. So that for the second property, the husband can loan up to 80%.
Question : Does the wife have to repay all 55% contribution from previous bank loan to the husband?

Hi,

I understand what you are exploring. Refinancing will depend on the bank. However, do take note that ABSD is still applicable, as you will still be the Owner of the HDB flat.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you and your partner in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen
