Hi Zebu,

I would suggest getting something on a high floor with a good location. As this are fixed qualities that will stick with you for at least the next 5 years.

Get a reasonable priced unit at about $500K and you can fork out another $40K-$100K to get the kind of finishing and renovation that you desire.

Are you in a rush to move in to suggest that you are looking for something with premium design and furnishings? Otherwise why would you want to buy someone else's design when you can do it the way you want?

Based on your price quoted, you can definitely get something of your choice rather easily.

My question will be if you will be required to take up any loan for your intended purchase or you have upfront cash ready for your purchase? This is an important factor prior to beginning your home search. Notice that I do not do househunting for my clients looking for a place to stay as I believe in searching for a place as a home where one look forward to return home after a tiring day.
