Hi there, we're 2 Singaporean singles looking to buy a hdb. But the problem is, one of us is 29 and another is 35 (unrelated). Is there any possibility to buy the hdb under 1 person's name first as singles scheme, and add-on the other person 6 years later to convert to joint singles scheme?

Hi,

Yes, it is possible. But if one of you could afford to purchase the flat under Single Scheme, why is there a need to add in a second name in 6 years later?

Isn't it better if the second party purchase his/her own flat when he/she turns 35?
