Hi,

Yes its possible to use overseas income payslips and bank statements to try to get a home loan in Singapore, however the banks may not offer full 75% max loan to value and may offer 50% or 60% instead depending on the assessment. Does the current bank you usually bank with have a presence in Singapore? I presume you do not own any other residential property in Singapore at the moment. If so, there will no ABSD.

Singaporean residing overseas can still purchase a residential property in Singapore and taking up a home loan in Singapore with their foreign income. The important consideration as what my fellow professionals have indicated will be whether the banks can recognise the income as well as the loan to value ratio maybe affected. To improve your loan eligibility and numbers, you need not only rely on your income alone for the loan.
