Hi, there is an official ratio that indicates the allocation of % of space on a piece of land for building vs common space like road, car park & facilities. What is the name for it and is it available on URA website like the plot ratio?

Dear Mr Toh,

I believe this Gross Floor Area Handbook from URA would be what you are looking for. In there, it detailed what are items are considered as floor area and what are partially considered while the rest are not. Depending on type of residential development, the handbook also states the ratio of which land have to be used for communal open space.
