Hi, there is a clause that if I were to cancel my BTO within a year, I would not be able to apply for a resale with housing grants within a year of cancellation. However, would it be possible to get a resale without grants instead as we have a change of plans?

Hi,

Yes its possible to get a resale flat without grants, change in plans is one of the main reasons for cancellation. Do note, there are penalties (typically forfeiture of deposit, depending on which phase) on top of the 1 year debarment for subsidized housing.

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Good morning,

If you are looking at giving up the BTO for resale unit without grant, you will eligible to do so. However, do note that whatever deposit that have being placed will be forfeited.

Do feel free to contact me should you need to understand the financial aspect for the purchase.
