1) If your husband includes your income as part of the household income at this moment of application. It will definitely increase your loan amount.
2) It should be fine when you found a job after the purchase as it will not affect your lifestyle due to the high commitment to the monthly mortgage.
Resale HDB
3) For buying a resale, the HLE will be valid for 6 months. There is no need for re-assessment during this period. This is assuming by the HDB that there is no change in financial position and family members.
4) You will have to apply for a new one week before the expiry of the HLE letter if you still need a valid HLE letter.
BTO:
5) If you purchase a BTO/SBF, the HDB will review your financial position nearer the completion of the flat. To confirm there is no change in your ability to service the housing loan.
