Hi there,

I am helping my mum rent out her whole flat, I have the power of attorney. My mum is currently overseas. We have found the tenants. The property agent says that the owner has to update the tenant’s details in hdb website. While my mum says that the agent is suppose to do it for us. Only subsequent renewals or update then we will need to do it ourselves. Can anyone advise who should do it as I am clueless.

Agents will be unable to update the HDB registry. This is done by the landlord and I will usually do it together with the landlord if they are unfamiliar with the process. Also, there will be an application fees payable to HDB for the subletting. Read More

Good morning,

owners have to log into myhdbpage (HDB website) with their own singpass for the application. Thats why your salesperson is unable to help you on this.
