1) Congratulation on your success!!! It is very difficult now a day to get citizenship approval.
2) From my experience the period from receiving IPA to finally receive your NRIC & passport is around 3.5 mths.
3) You renounce your citizenship near to 3 mths times from the date you receive your IPA.
4) You can only sign the OTP upon receiving your passport. This is what the HDB told me because my buyer already confirmed a flat before they collect their NRIC. HDB staff warned that OTP will void if sign before the passport is collected.
5) My buyers start their viewings after received their IPA. Therefore they have more time to see around. The disadvantage is they are not able to buy when they see the right unit.
