Hi,.

Yes the 15 month wait out period starts counting from private property sale completion date. You can only apply HFE letter once the 15 month wait out period ends. If you are below 55 years old, have to wait out 15 months after the private property sale completion before eligible to apply HFE to purchase hdb.

You will have to declare the info when you are applying the HFE letter. Also hdb will request the document for the date of completion of the private property sale when you are applying.

Hi,

Yes 15 months from sales completion date. You will have to declare this date when applying for HFE to buy your HDB.
If you are 55 years old and above and buying 4R HDB or smaller there is no need for 15 months wait out period.
