Hi, yes, you can use your spouse’s parents’ address for the Family Care Scheme as long as the BTO is within 4km of their home. The key point is the relationship link, and since you are applying with your spouse, their parents are considered your qualifying family members for this purpose.

Do note you will still need to meet the other BTO eligibility criteria, and HDB will verify the details during application.

As per HDB's website, A household's eligibility for housing subsidies and HDB housing loan is assessed based on the core family nucleus, which is formed by the core member(s). Core members refer to the applicants AND occupiers in an HFE letter application who enable the household to qualify for a flat purchase under an eligibility scheme.

Nevertheless, there are many other considerations you should take note of if you are using this scheme to purchase, especially if you and your spouse are still young and intend to buy another home at any point in the future.
