Hi Property Guru,
My wife & I want to apply BTO Sales Launch OR Sales of Balance in November 2020.....Currently, I'm sole ownership (SC) of a resale HDB flat, my spouse (SPR) & son (SC) are essential occupants.....I already met MOP more than 5 years.....I’ve checked with HDB that we’re consider First-Timer & Second-Timer Couple Applicants & my household would enjoy the same priority in flat allocation for balloting as other first-timer families when buying a flat from HDB.....However, we came across this question in the application form.....INTEREST IN AN HDB FLAT = (Do you, or any person listed in the Application Form, own or have inherited/acquired by way of gift, any interest in an HDB flat).....What does that mean?..... Should I put YES or NO for INTEREST IN AN HDB FLAT?.....Then in GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR PURCHASE (2.8 Ownership / Interest in Property), it stated, a person is not eligible to buy an HDB flat if the person, his/ her spouse, or any occupiers listed in the Application Form: (a) is the owner of any other flat, house, building or land* or has an estate or interest therein. Does that mean we cannot apply BTO from HDB? It’s very confusing as there’s no one pick-up the call @ HDB.....
