Hi Mr. Tan,

Once you get a resale HDB, you need to wait out MOP of 5 years first before you are eligible to apply for new BTO again.

For first timer grant, up to $50k depending on room size and if both are singaporean citizens applying. For EHG, it depends on the total household income and cannot exceed $9k per month. The higher the income, the lower the grant amount. For proximity housing grant, 20k that's correct if both are citizens.

Thank you for your post.

For Enhanced Housing Grant, it is up to $80,000 provided the household income is not more than $1,500 each month. For your household income of $9,000, basing on the table provided by HDB, your EHG will be $5,000. Combined with your first timer grant of up to $50,000 if your are a full Singapore Citizen household as well as proximity housing grant of $20,000 for staying near parents, from outlook, your total grant is in the range of $75,000. For all HDB flats, you will be required to fulfil a minimum occupation period of 5 years before you are eligible to sell and purchase another property, and that includes application for BTO.

For calculation of sales proceeds, it will be based on the formula of selling price minus of the total of outstanding loan plus the CPF utilised including the accrued interest.
