Hi. Next door neighbour selling their unit. Im interested in getting it so that i can stay just beside my parents. But neighbour's race is Arab. Hence, under "Indian&others". Already checked the ethnic eligibility for my block thru the HDB website. Not eligible. Is it possible to appeal?

Evening,

I won't say it's impossible to appeal but chances are not high, unles your parents are of mixed marriage origin.

Hi Fahn,

As Mike has mentioned, chances for successful appeal is pretty slim. Probably, you can just hope that the next update for ethnic eligibility, you will be eligible and that the unit is still available.
