Hi, need your expertise here. If a private property that is owned by my parents and they have decided to give me as a gift (i.e. from parents to child). How long before my parents are able to purchase a HDB flat from open market?

Evening Andy,

Since your parents are looking at buying HDB resale unit, they will be immediately eligible for the purchase if they have no intention of getting housing grant. They can finance the purchase using Bank loan.
