I do understand this will be your first property investment purchase and I will hold both of your hands along the way so you guys can be rest assured.

Have you guys speak to a banker to have a loan assessment (In principle approval aka IPA) before?

Quick sharing on the new units timeline: 8 weeks
- Place 5% cash as booking fee
- Developer will deliver Sales and Purchase agreement (S&P) to your law firm or you guys within 2 weeks from booking date
- Once receipt of S&P, you need to exercise with a valid letter of offer (LO) from bank
- Stamp duty (CPF) will be payable within 2 weeks from exercise of S&P
- balance downpayment will be payable upon 8 weeks completion

*Provided IPA + OTP to banker, banker will generate LO
* stamp duty can be payable via CPF for new unit

Just curious why only consider new unit and not resale?

If you guys are looking at investment, we need to work out the numbers to minimise risk especially with the rising interest rates climate.
