Dear Mrs Yeo,

We are unaware of what is within the tenancy agreement to advise if you have any obligations to do so. Nevertheless, you may exercise your judgement in granting pro-rated amount if tenant has been responsible in the tenure of stay and allow things to run out on a happy note perhaps? Any "bad gas" left within the apartment may not be good in securing the next tenant or before the next tenant move in. This is purely my own opinion as far as possible we always try to seek out a happy ending where possible. If you wish to fully look into it, you may wish to contact the salesperson who broker this rental to address the above issue.

Good day to you Mrs Yeo,

To help with your question, this can be determined by what is written in your Tenancy Agreement. The real estate professional that you have previously engaged will be able to help you to determine this.

If the tenant has not given you any problems during the lease, you may want to consider pro-rating it so as not to cause any unhappiness between parties.

Afternoon Ms. Yeo,

Depending on what is stated on your TA, you might or might not need to pro-rated the last month rental. I would suggest that you look into your TA before deciding what to do.
