Hi, my sister and I are both single PRs under 35 years old, with no property under our names. Is it possible for us to buy a resale HDB together? Our parents will not be on the application, but they are also PRs and have their own property in Singapore.

No, you are not eligible to purchase any HDB based on this combination. Perhaps you may wish to consider 5 years old resale EC instead?

Hi,
Only married SPR's can buy resale HDB. So, if you want to purchase a home with your sister, your best solution is an old condo. This old condo will have more value than HDB in the longer term as the land belongs to all owners and you can also go for enbloc. HDB, when it is old not many people want to buy it.

Only married couple SPR with valid 3 year SPR status can purchase resale HDB. You can purchase private condo no issue.

Hi,

1) SPR siblings schemes were already removed from the HDB eligibility schemes in 2011.
2) Therefore only an SPR family nucleus is eligible to buy a resale HDB flat after fulfilling the minimum 3 years of SPR status.
3) The family nucleus can be formed by a married couple, parent/s + child/ren.
4) So it is either you get married to an SC to be eligible to buy immediately or with an SPR who had fulfilled the 3 years of SPR status.
5) Alternative is to buy a private residential property such as a resale EC which is the most value-for-money.

For SPR, only married couple and both of them must be SPR for more than 3 years then it will be eligible to buy a resale HDB together. For your case, you may want to consider buying a private property with your sister instead to ride on the wave of property price appreciation in Singapore.
