hi my parents own a 5rm hdb flat at jurong west since 1999. my father is a bankruptcy, my mother has been contributing the loan & household expenses alone. she wants to sell the flat and stay with my brother's family. she is worried how the cash proceeds will be distributed. i understand that the hdb will issue out a chq payment to both owners, my father has no bank acct as he is a bankruptcy, furthermore my mother wants the cash proceeds gain to be under her name only. is there any way that my mother could ask the hdb to issue chq under her name only? thks
