Hi, my mum is in her 60s and a housewife.
She got the HDB transferred to her upon my dad passing. This ex HDB was under my dad and gdmum previously and was sold off for 10+yrs.
If she is looking to buy a 3 room HDB under single with cash, is this feasible? Will she get any Grant? Is she able to rent out one of the room to have some passive income?

Hi,

If your Mother is a Singapore Citizen, she is able to purchase a resale HDB flat under her name. She can also rent out the bedroom(s) to supplement her retirement income.
