hi, my mum, 62years old, wants to buy a 4room HDB at Hougang. Do we require to look for an agent for buying? If yes what is the agent fee and charges? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can find the house by yourself but it may take some knowledge of transactions and negotiotions to get your best price and good locations and nicely renovated homes so as to safe on money and time. Yes and you do need to pay as little as 1% on commission for the services rendered. Services inc 1)selecting to your taste as many times as possible.2)Doing the neccessary documentations inc payments for fees with receipts and fixing the dates for the 1st and 2nd appointments and liasing with the lawyers till you get all the keys and documents to your new home!
